My first night ever in an RV park – I didn’t know what to compare it to. It is a great place to stay close to the beach with electric and water hookups. There is no sewage hookup but they have a dump station. It is perfect if you like biking or walking because there is a paved bike path right next to it.
Bolsa Chica is the perfect place if you love surfing, tanning, volleyball, and enjoy watching the sunset by your RV with your family or friends.
The sites are long enough to fit large rigs but the spaces on top of each other, it’s like long parking spaces… You have lots of space with a Class B Van though. There is a little area for chairs and tables by each site. You are basically right on the beach, just have to walk over the wide sandy area and you can jump in the water.
If you like running, biking, or walking there is a trail right by the camp that runs for 8 miles between Bolsa Chica and Huntington State Beaches.
Across the park, there is the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve where bird watchers can enjoy the amazing wildlife.
The State Beach has 50 campsites with electric and water hookups for self-contained RVs. Picnic tables, outdoor showers, and restrooms.
It is a couple of minutes’ drive to the closest shopping areas.
