Charlie-Browns-Farm-drinksSo my friend, Winter was telling me about Charlie Brown’s farm in Littlerock CA. It is a complete tourist trap with so many knick-knacks, unique gift items old style candies, drinks and more. You could easily spend an hour just walking around room to room wondering who would want all this.

They sell some food items and fresh fudge if you like that sort of stuff but plan on spending a while there because of the lines. (If you go on the weekends.) I wanted to buy some unique snacks but after looking at most ingredients I realized, everything is full of preservatives, artificial colors and flavors. I really don’t understand why they have to put artificial colors in dried fruits or why they load sugary candies with preservatives. So I left without buying anything. I recommend visiting it though, it’s fun!

After filling up with gas I was heading towards Calico, the Ghost Town. It was a silver mine in the late 1800’s. I really liked the old town style, the rides, it is really a whole day family fun. I had an electric site for the night and I decided to get acquainted with my neighbors. I went over there, brought some cookies over and started talking with them. They were a nice couple, probably in their late forties. They invited me over to the fire and we had a nice night and awesome conversations.

On the way home I decided to take route 2 through the mountains. Unfortunately, it was closed down most ways. I still got to go a few miles into the mountains and do a 3-mile hike. There was still snow on the mountains around.
